1. Address book synchronization
Address book synchronization through NOIP, enable «Address book synchronization» option on NOIP side on «Sync» page.
On Viewer side in the address book window that you can open via main menu — tools — «address books».
To open the address book synchronization window, click the button «synchronization NOIP».
Enable the synchronization by specifying the address and port of the NOIP.
Close the window with saving the changes.
Near NOIP will appear a new file of address book the «connections_3.4.xml».
To get this contacts (address book data) on another Viewer, you must do the same steps and set the option read-Only data that the second Viewer has access only to read data.
2. Address book synchronization and separate access by users.
What would the Viewer have gained access not to all contacts, but only to certain groups and contacts, you must create a user of address book and attach him to your contacts.
To create the users for address book, use the main menu — tools — «Address book users».
Or through the context menu of a group or contact, select item «Address book set users rights», click «Create» button.
Click «New» button and enter a name and password for the new user.
After a new user is created it can be attached to a group or to the contact trough the context menu of the object, to set the rights of users address book and add it to the list of «Item users».
For address book synchronization in the synchronization window on the main Viewer, specify the administrator password, only that Viewer will have full access to address book data.
On the second and all subsequent Viewers, specify user to sync only the contacts to which the user is bound. Access will be obtained in read-only, modify the data of address book the user is will not be able.
3. Additional settings.
To protect against unauthorized access, you can set the security code for synchronization. The protect code is specified on the synchronization tab at the NOIP and in the synchronization settings of address book on Viewer.
